A clearer handoff for specialty insurance work.
A proposed way to explore evidence preparation, reporting and submission work in specialty insurance.
This page describes proposed workflows to validate with an operational owner. It does not describe a corporate carrier deployment or establish compatibility with a particular system.
Start with the work.
Then size the opportunity.
Claims evidence preparation
Bring incoming notes and documents into a consistent review packet. Start with one claim type and an agreed completeness checklist.
Reporting exceptions
Compare one recurring reporting format with an agreed schema. Flag gaps and inconsistencies for the responsible analyst.
Submission preparation
Organize the evidence required for a submission and prepare questions for underwriter or broker review.
A pilot should produce evidence of value.
Measure one workflow before making an annual savings claim. Separate time returned to the team from cash savings, and include review and correction time in the comparison.
How much work arrives?
Count the relevant files per month and identify a representative sample, including exceptions.
What does it take today?
Record hands-on preparation time, follow-up effort and the corrections needed at review.
What actually changes?
Compare time, completeness and corrections using agreed acceptance criteria. Include setup and operating costs.
Monthly files × measured minutes saved per file ÷ 60 = hours of capacity returned. Financial value depends on how that capacity is used. Avoid counting the same benefit again as avoided hiring.
Bring one recurring bottleneck.
Define a useful first test.
